Ken Rosato (born August 3, 1967) is an American television news anchor. He is best known for his work at WABC-TV in New York City, where he was a morning news anchor for Eyewitness News This Morning and Eyewitness News at Noon.
Early Life and Education: Rosato was born and raised in Providence, Rhode Island. He is of Italian and Irish descent. He graduated from Rhode Island College with a degree in broadcast journalism.
Career: Rosato began his broadcasting career in local radio and television in Providence. He later worked at WIVB-TV in Buffalo, New York before joining WABC-TV in 2003. At WABC, he became a prominent figure in New York morning news.
Departure from WABC-TV: In March 2023, Rosato was abruptly fired from WABC-TV. The circumstances surrounding his termination were not publicly disclosed initially, but later reports suggested it involved an off-air incident.
Personal Life: Rosato is openly gay. He and his husband, Rick, have been together for many years. They have two children.
